Bad day
Today went even worse than I expect. I kinda already knew that I wasn’t going to get into Physiology because no one has dropped. However, I went to the Chairman anyways and talked him anyways. We told him even though lecture is closed, lab is open and he said IF lab is open, then we should be able to enroll into the class. He called our Physiology professor and he basically told the chairman that lab is closed which is a total lie. So when the chairman heard this, he said because lab is closed, he can’t add us. We were like okay, but we knew our professor was lying and our TA even told us that his lab was open. So I text my friend and asked for one of the TAs number, I called them and asked them if their lab was open and they said yes, and I even asked to talk to my TA and he even told me yes. Long story short, I went to lecture, and I told my TA the situation and he told me what I can do. I checked online for the class enrollment during registration and the class was open. There was a spot in lecture left ( technically there was 3 spots in my lab) so after class me and my friend went to go talk to him about adding the class and immediately he said NO. He said he checked and he class is at capacity. We told him we just checked and it wasn’t. When he checked for himself, he saw and said lets go to the department chair. We went, and he said wait outside for him and he’ll talk to the Chair. And Yep, he basically came out saying sorry we can’t add you into the class because it wouldn’t be fair blah blah. Even though the chairman said that we could technically add the class if its open. My physio professor had the power to add us and he didnt. That asshole! So I decided to send him an email of why he couldn’t even just add one of us and how his decision was very unjustified. But yep, thats my shitty day. I had the opportunity to get into the class I wanted, but because my professor didn’t want to add anyone even though there is room, I couldn’t get in.
Also, I was so worked up about this, when I took my Public Health Test I’m pretty sure I bombed it. Which is pretty sad since the class is an easy A.
I admit I was sad and furious, but I can’t do anything else about the situation but move on.
